Since I'm doing this on a Friday and not a Sunday, most of the games this week haven't been played. One big one besides our game obviously has. Last night, the #5 Stanford Cardinal beat up and then outlasted the #3 Oregon Ducks 26-20 in Palo Alto.
There's a lot of ways this could impact Baylor, which stands to move up at least 1 spot in the coming BCS unless something weird and unexpected happens. Stanford likely jumps Ohio State for various reasons, putting them at least third. Oregon falls out of the top 5 to somewhere around seventh or eighth, again depending on whatever else happens. That gives Baylor at least one spot to rise (to #5), but you might see us jump Ohio State, who is off this week, as well. It could happen. I'm fairly certain we won't jump Stanford.
We'll know more about this in coming days. I'll update with whatever informed speculation (because that's all we have) I can find.
News! Everything Baylor I could find this morning.
