Second Half Thread: OU 5, Baylor 24

Sic. Em. Bears.

Ronald Martinez

There was once a dream that was The Big XII Championship. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish... it was so fragile...

In the most bizarre half of football that Baylor has played in 2013, the story of the first half looked to revolve around penalties, defense, injuries, sloppy play and scores that more closely resemble a baseball game. The key word there is "looked" because a late surge by the Baylor offense, featuring Baylor QB Bryce Petty and RB Shock Linwood, surged to roll off 21 straight points.

Aaron Colvin was winning the matchup against Antwan Goodley, but made one critical mistake. Wrong guy to make a mistake against. Striker has been a presence tonight, but to my amateur scouting eyes, most of the blame for that lies with Petty, not Drango. OU's offense, meanwhile, has...well...let's just say maybe we're returning Buffalo's Tuesday night gift of looking like a stronger opponent.

Let's keep it going, Bears. I want to see a re-enactment of this at the end of the night:
