It's getting closer, and the closer it gets, the more it seems like each minute takes longer to go by than the one right before it. Am I the only one feeling like Saturday is still ages away?
No exciting coverage map for the game this week. The game is on ESPN at 6:45 p.m. Central time. It's national, so if you really would like to see a coverage map, head to the Map site of your choice, zoom out to the United States, and voila! A coverage map! We all get the game on Saturday night!

Last night the Official site put out a good guide for GameDay parking and shuttle information. If you don't know, they're opening up the areas near the set at 6:00 a.m. Students are allowed to camp out the night before, if I'm not mistaken. I have heard that they will be checking student IDs for that, but I'm not 100% sure. For students and folks that may park across the Umphrey bridge, the guide linked above states the following:
Access to McLane Stadium across the Umphrey Pedestrian Bridge will be very limited before and during the ESPN College Gameday broadcast. Visitors are encouraged to utilize the shuttles from downtown and campus or approach the stadium from the North side along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Must Reads
If you have a credentialed parking pass, they're going to let you park in your designated lot for GameDay. You'll be able to leave and return to the lot, as long as you leave before 1:00 p.m. If you don't have credentialed parking, you can park in a non-credentialed lot and ride a shuttle over, or you can park downtown. They'll have shuttles running from downtown to the site. Remember: your best bet to get there is by shuttle, since the Umphrey Bridge will have limited access.
For Students: If you haven't checked out the University's official Baylor Nation Fan Zone site yet, it's the best place for you to find out all the information that you'll need for GameDay. Go check it out! You can either click this link or the one on the right. It's your choice. You can also click this link for information about the GameDay student pit.
A Quick Word About GameDay Stuff
There have been some rumors that there's going to be a contingent of TCU students that come down to GameDay to get in on the fun. I don't doubt that this is true, as GameDay always has a host of different fans that show up at the games. Whether its fans of TCU, K-State, Ohio State, or Florida State, please show them civility and kindness, regardless of their actions. This is going to be an extremely excited, emotionally charged atmosphere. With how most Baylor fans feel about their treatment by the Committee, tempers may be running hot. Please remember to treat anyone from different fanbases with respect. I'm not saying to not have fun or engage in good-natured trash talk... Just be smart. And hospitable.
Radio/Watch Parites
The regular weekly "Cant Make it To McLane?" post hasn't gone up on the official site yet, so I'm re-using the Radio affiliates table from last week. Since I'm not 100% on watch parties, I'm not going to post those for now. I'll update the post once they specify where the official watch parties are located. As always, if you're unable to make the game, check out a watch party if there's one in your area, and if you know of one, let us know so that we can add it to the list.
