Make your plans now for Baylor’s return to McLane Stadium on September 25 to welcome the Cyclones of Iowa State. The game will kick off at 2:30 PM on FOX according to the announcement a few minutes ago:

According to Accuweather, the forecast for that day looks pretty good at around 88 degrees for the high with a 25% chance of rain, but I want to warn our Ames-ish friends that it could be a little warm that day with humidity and the like. They should take precautions now so that it doesn’t affect them when they come down. I’m not sure what that means in terms of trying to beat the heat, but they should talk about it. Just trying to look out for you guys.
With this weekend’s game against Kansas being on ESPN+ yet again, the Iowa State game will be most of the country’s first exposure to the 2021 Baylor Bears. Hopefully we will go into it 3-0 and face off against a Cyclone team that has bounced back from the loss this weekend to rival Iowa with a win over UNLV. Another word of advice for Iowa State considering their opponent—if you get the chance to kneel it out, do so.
