Baylor vs. Iowa State Odds: Baylor opens as 33-point favorites over Cyclones

That ... is huge. It might be the biggest set line in Baylor history, but I can't prove that.

If you're suddenly questioning the Baylor Bears based off a 10-point win over Kansas State (the first time in the last 10 games in which Baylor didn't cover the spread), Vegas is not with you.  According to Oddshark.com, Baylor has opened as a 33-point favorite over the Iowa State Cyclones, who are coming off a close loss this weekend in Lubbock to the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

This ... seems really high to me.  Really, really high.  I would have expected the line to be big-- somewhere around 20 points, maybe -- but not this big.  I know it's basic math, but if Baylor is going to cover after giving up, say 20 points, that means we have to score 54.  Sure, the game is at home and is actually Homecoming.  That's still a lot of points.

Iowa State is in no way a bad team.  They're probably not great, but their 1-4 record doesn't show who they really are, I think.  After all, they should at least have the win stolen from them over Texas two weeks ago.
