I’m going to publish this now so people can watch the end if they want to, but I’ll be updating the post as quotes/info comes out.
Dana Holgorsen on preparing @UHCougarFB for Baylor (@BUFootball) under first-year head coach Dave Aranda: “Is it better to not know a few things about them or is it better to have continuity for the last year and a half? If I was to pick, I’d pick continuity.” pic.twitter.com/pYlkvreJ6A

Aranda said Houston's skill positions are what jump out on tape. They're in the process of deciding how to handle all that today. It's impressive and they can stretch you out offensively. #Baylor

Travis mentioned on Twitter the other day that Iowa State would kill to have Houston’s WRs.
Opening game week take two. Baylor HC Dave Aranda on Houston: “There’s a lot more max protect throw that I can ever remember from last year. The run game is heavily influenced from what Oklahoma does.”

That’s interesting.
Aranda: "We still have a full week [to prepare], but this our third first game we're preparing for."

Prep started on Saturday afternoon/evening. He knows a lot of the Houston staff and Coogs will be a great challenge.
Dave Aranda recalls walking into Holgorsen’s office at Texas Tech in 2001 and finding Dana scrolling through game film with one remote and fast forwarding another TV trying to find a clip he was looking for from the movie “Tombstone.”

For his part, Holgorsen said he doesn’t really remember much about coaching with Aranda in 2001 at Tech.
Dave Aranda in preparing for Houston: “We had a practice on Saturday and we had a thought this could happen. That all came together Saturday evening. We have been breaking down film and cataloging plays.” #Baylor #SicEm
