Last night's highlights are in the post-game thread. Watch them. And this:
Major Contributors:
Bryce Petty -- 13/16 for 338 yards and 2 TDs. Still no interceptions. Think about that average per attempt.
Lache Seastrunk -- 17 carries for 150 yards and 3 TDs. Probably 10 defenders trucked, though that's not a kept statistic. It should be.
Rashodrick Linwood -- 12 carries for 76 yards and 2 TDs. Lache doesn't really need anyone else to bring the thunder, but Shock does it, regardless.
Tevin Reese -- 4 receptions for 130 yards, 1 TD. I definitely borked this projection.
Antwan Goodley -- 4 receptions for 124 yards, 1 TD. I can't remember a player like him in Baylor history.
Jay Lee -- 2 receptions for 59 yards, 1 TD. He should have had another one that was called back on what should have been, at worst, offsetting penalties.
Sam Holl -- 9 tackles, 2.5 for loss, and a sack. Also had a forced fumble that turned into a TD.
Shawn Oakman -- 3 tackles, 2 for loss. Number of plays that made you scared for someone's wellbeing: all of them.
After 15 last week, Baylor had 11 tackles for loss this week. We had 58 for the entire season last year.
Top 25 Results:
I don't see a way Baylor isn't ranked in both polls after this week's games. Texas and USC lost in the Coaches' Poll, where we were #26. In the AP, Notre Dame and Texas both lost, giving us the chance to move up even without a simple rearrangement of teams. I'm going to predict we come in around 22 in the Coaches' and 19 in the AP. That's just a guess. We should know something later today.

What we learned in Big 12 football: Week 2 - ESPN
Here's what we learned in a weird Week 2 in the Big 12. Really not happy with the way the Big 12 Blog is going these days. If it's not OU or UT, they don't care. If OU or UT don't play well, it's a "weird week." If those two aren't winning and/or leading the conference, we're clearly "down." It's not hard at all to figure out where the loyalties lie with this group.
