Baylor Announces Grey-White-Grey for #SicUT

I was hoping for #ChromeTrooper, but this will do.

NCAA Football: Baylor at Texas Christian Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Baylor announced its uniform combination tomorrow in the normal fashion via a Tweet from the official account. Spoiler alert! It’s Grey-white-grey, which you already knew from the title to this post.

Whoop, there it is. Considering we just brought out the grey helmets a year ago, I BELIEVE this may be a totally new combination that we’re seeing for the first time, but I could be wrong. I’m sure someone will correct me if I am, and I’ll feel just terrible about it. As expected, I was wrong! We wore the uniforms vs. TCU in the monsoon last year. Kudos to one of my brothers twice (maybe?) for setting me straight.

What do you think about this combo? Have to be honest, I was really hoping for #chrometrooper considering Texas’s history with their white uniforms, but we may be saving that for West Virginia? That was less a question than a thought ending with a question mark.

Second game in a row we’ll be rolling with the grey helmets, which is somewhat interesting.
