Tweets of the (Yester)day — Baylor’s First Win of 2017

PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE FACT THAT THIS IS A DAY LATE.

As I’m sure everyone predicted, yesterday’s much-anticipated matchup between Baylor and Kansas spawned a number of memorable tweets. The purpose of this post, as always, is to catalogue those tweets. Buckle up, my friends.*

*I have to apologize once again for the fact that these will probably be out of chronological order. Twitter stopped organizing them that way earlier this year, and I have no idea why.

I had a lot to say about our running game early in yesterday’s contest.

I’m thinking probably.

This was the next thing that really caught my eye.

Genius is rarely recognized in its own time.

These are all excellent questions. As far as I can tell, the answers are:

  1. Yes.
  2. N/A.
  3. I did.
  4. Because you used the remote control on your television to select the channel on which this game was playing and then left the game on your television (or, alternatively, you chose the game on the FOXSportsGO app on your computer or other device).

I purposefully put this one in out of order so you would see the play first.

I meant “team,” obviously.

Pour one out.
