One day after comfortably covering a 17-point game time spread over the Texas Tech Red Raiders, the Baylor Bears open as 38-point favorites over the Kansas Jayhawks in the Bears' first plane ride of the season.
This is the kind of spread that makes me really glad I don't do that for a living. How do you quantify how much better Baylor is than Kansas this year and feel at all confident in it? Do you use a dart board? Maybe a really smart octopus? I dunno. But that's a big spread, and it should be a big spread, so there you go.
Vote in the poll below and give me your thoughts about this spread. Also, check out a few more notable spreads from the Big 12/state for Week 6:
OU -14.5 vs. UT (neutral site)
WVU -6 vs. OSU
TCU -6.5 @ KSU (REALLY surprised this one isn't higher)
ISU @ TT (-11.5)
Looks like A&M doesn't play this week.
Should be a fun week!
