Baylor announces Pro Timing Day Coverage for March 19

For the first time in program history, Baylor will stream live coverage of next week's "Pro Timing Day," where Baylor's draft entrants will work out for NFL scouts.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

For a while now, we've labored under the belief that Baylor's 2014 Pro Day would take place on March 27.  That is apparently incorrect.  Baylor announced this morning that its "Pro Timing Day," which I believe is the same thing, will take place next Wednesday, March 19.  Among the Baylor stars that will work out for NFL scouts/officials that day are RB Lache Seastrunk, WR Tevin Reese, S Ahmad Dixon, TE Jordan Najvar, and CB Demetri Goodson.

This kind of live coverage is a significant step forward for Baylor's utilization of digital media and should give Bears fans everywhere an unprecedented look at the Pro Day.  In the past, we've had to rely on coverage from the NFL Network or ESPN.com that was spotty, at best, and only available when the highest profile players were involved.  Now, Baylor can control the coverage itself and provide it free of charge through BaylorBears.com.

Coverage of the event begins at 9:45, and I know ODBers everywhere will be watching intently.
