Last week, the Bears trailed Ohio State for #4 in the AP and Coaches Polls by 81 and 70 points, respectively. This week, we trail them for #3 (after Oregon's loss) by just 7 and 25. The Coaches Poll is, of course, the much more important poll since it serves as a component, along with the Harris, in BCS Rankings to be released tonight.

The Big 12 now has 4 teams ranked in both polls in Baylor (4/4), Oklahoma State (12/10), Oklahoma (22/17), and Texas (23/24). Texas Tech fell out after their third straight loss.
The Week 12 Harris Poll
Baylor is #4 in this week's Harris Poll, up from #5. The gap between Ohio State and the Bears has fallen from 150 to just 69. Baylor is making up ground where it matters.
