Big 12 Power Rankings: Week Four

Baylor finally broke the 70 point seal, TCU got luckier than a Vegas gambler who just won it big, and West Virginia is sneaky good.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

I apologize in advance for the brevity of this post. I missed all the games this weekend (including my first missed home game in four-plus years) for a funeral and I'm pretty sure I'm coming down with strep. Hooray!

Last week's rankings.

1. Baylor Bears (+0)

We finally saw a complete game from the Bears this week. More of that please.

2. TCU Horned Frogs (+0)

TCU were this close to losing. Talent beats out luck in the end...even if you're 2013 Auburn.

3. Oklahoma Sooners (+0)

They play West Virginia this week for the third spot.

4. West Virginia Mountaineers (+0)

Their defense has only given up 23 points all year. OU is much better than any team that they've faced. Can the defense remain stalwart?

5. Texas Tech Red Raiders (+0)

Weird things happen in Lubbock. Hopefully that doesn't transfer to Arlington.

6. Oklahoma State Cowboys (+0)

I'm not sold on Okie State just yet. They still have a lot to prove, in my opinion.

7. Kansas State Wildcats (+0)

The Snydercats had a bye this week. No movement for them.

8. Texas Longhorns (+0)

Congratulations on finally realizing that the Big 12 refs are awful, Horns fans. Your football team is bad.

9. Iowa St. Cyclones (+0)

Paul Rhodes is a nice guy.

10. Kansas Jayhawks (+0)

They're in the running for worst football team of all time.
