Big 12 Power Rankings: Week Eleven

Baylor is no longer number one. Sad day.

1a. Oklahoma State Cowboys (+1)

The Pokes fought off their bad memories from 2011 and (barely) took care of business against the Cyclones in Ames. I remain flummoxed when trying to figure out this team, but they beat TCU and are undefeated, so the top spot goes to them.

1b. Oklahoma Sooners (+3)

:(

3. Baylor Bears (-2)

Still better than TCU.

4. TCU Horned Frogs (+0)

Y'all nearly lost to Kansas. In Fort Worth. Granted, both Doctson and Boykin missed the majority of the game due to injury, but the offense looked baaad without them. The defense is struggling too with injuries galore.

5. West Virginia Mountaineers (+0)

The Mountaineers laid waste to Texas on Saturday, and, with the bottom of the Big 12 coming up on the schedule, have an excellent chance to reach seven or eight wins.

6. Texas Tech Red Raiders (+0)

Bowl. Eligible. Red. Raiders. Man, the defense is teeerrrriiibbbllle but that offense is a heck of a lot of fun. With a single game against Texas left, the Raiders will be looking to see where they land in December.

7. Kansas State Wildcats (+0)

They have to win out to make a bowl.

8. Iowa St. Cyclones (+0)

The Cyclones cannot make a bowl. Paul Rhodes' cymbal tie will have to wait until Big 12 Media Days, I suppose.

9. Texas Longhorns (+0)

The wildly inconsistent Horns need to beat Tech and Baylor to make a bowl. Good luck with that.

10. Kansas Jayhawks (+0)

Basketball is here!
