Week 11 Open Thread: CFB Playoff Rankings Part Deux

Watch with the rest of us while ESPN reveals the Committee's rankings and Jeff Long presents ridiculous post hoc justifications for them.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Here's last week's Top 10 in the CFB Playoff Rankings:

1. Clemson Tigers
2. LSU Tigers
3. Ohio State Buckeyes
4. Alabama Crimson Tide
5. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
6. Baylor Bears
7. Michigan State Spartans
8. TCU Horned Frogs
9. Iowa Hawkeyes
10. Florida Gators

Of those 10 teams, 3 lost last week.  Of those 3, we can probably assume that 2 won't be in the Top 10.

Here's my prediction for who will be tonight (and I promise not to change this when I'm wrong):

1. Clemson Tigers
2. Alabama Crimson Tide
3. Ohio State Buckeyes
4. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
5. Oklahoma State Cowboys
6. Baylor Bears
7. LSU Tigers (really thought about putting them sixth, over us)
8. Iowa Hawkeyes
9. Stanford Cardinal
10. Florida Gators

That's it, those are my 10.  As I mentioned, I could see LSU sticking ahead of us even with their loss, but I doubt it.  I have them at 7 ahead of Iowa, even with the Hawkeyes being undefeated.

Since we've got a bit of time here, go ahead and give me your predictions for the Top ... I dunno ... 6? in tonight's rankings.  Then we'll enjoy Jeff Long's attempts at rationalizing some new criteria together!
