Briles says Baylor fell 8-4 vote short of reaching the CFB Playoff

So, this happened:

Briles also said the climb of gaining national respect full-bore can be as long as an 8-10 year process from when it began.

Couple of things here:

1. I'd love to know who his source is that would know about that vote. 
   
2. I like the sound of a Baylor team that sets out not just to win, but to dominate.  Prepare yourselves, rest of CFB.
