Baylor #10 in Preseason AP Poll

The Bears have debuted at #10 in the first Associated Press poll of the 2014-2015 season, 6 spots behind conference mate Oklahoma.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The Associated Press released their first official poll of 2014-2015 minutes ago, and your Baylor Bears are officially a top 10 team again at #10.  That puts them second in the Big 12 behind the Oklahoma Sooners (#4).  The only other Big 12 team to make the rankings themselves is the Kansas State Wildcats at #20.  From Baylor Football on Twitter:

We don't yet have anything from SB Nation showing the entire list, for those that don't want to go to the AP's site itself, but we will.  For now, the Top 10 is:

1. Florida State Seminoles
2. Alabama Crimson Tide
3. Oregon Ducks
4. Oklahoma Sooners
5. Ohio State Buckeyes
6. Auburn Tigers
7. UCLA Bruins
8. Michigan State Spartans
9. South Carolina Gamecocks
10. Baylor Bears

Barely anything surprises me here.  I believe the AP has Auburn a shade higher than some of the others, but it really doesn't matter all that much.  For the most part, the Top 10 is here is the Top 10 as its been everywhere else, with us substituted for the Stanford Cardinal in a few.
