The Media Guide (in PDF form) has 45 total pages, and I'm not about to go through all of that. What I will do is copy the latest Depth Charts so we have them in the CampBU stream for easy reference. There are a few changes, some more interesting than others, but for the most part, things are working out pretty much as expected. I highly recommend that everyone read as much of the Media Guide as you can; it is filled with great info and quotes about the way the team looks so far.

Most of this chart works out the way we expected with two rather obvious deviations. First, Robbie Rhodes is officially listed on the first team offense. That's a pretty big deal. Second, Baylor is clearly planning for Baker's return already, listing him as a starter alongside Palmer at RT. I don't know if that says anything about his recovery or not, but it is worthy of note, regardless. Clay Fuller having a spot both outside and in makes sense considering where they've used him in the past. Kyle Fuller's ascendance in the pecking order at RG esays they either really like him or aren't positive about whether Osei has a future on the OL, after all. There's basically no way to know at this point. I'm glad to see Tyler Edwards make an impact on the second team. He should provide, at the very least, excellent depth.
The only person on offense that I expected to see and don't is Lynx Hawthorne. In the spring, he had one of the backup IR spots behind Tevin Reese. That seems to have changed. Kaleb Moore is out for the season with a torn ACL. You could see Brandon Brown picking up playing time as the season goes on in that spot.

I know what you're thinking already -- Javonte Magee isn't on here and that's distressing. Everything up to this point has said he'd be back before the first game, and it's possible what we're seeing is just a reflection of the fact that he's been out. Andrew Billings' absence pushes me in that direction, since we know he'll be back on Wednesday and he's not here, either. It's also possible that the decision about his redshirt has not yet been made.
Kevin Smith making the 2-deep is a fairly surprising, considering he's a true freshman and our DE rotation looks pretty strong. If he's good enough already to be in a rotation with Oakman behind Lloyd, that's impressive.
With practices closing today, these Depth Charts are about as good of information as we may have for a while, so enjoy them. On offense, things look pretty set, and I'm not expecting much movement. If/when Magee comes back, that's going to cause a ripple effect on the defense that might change things around. For the most part, though, this is probably what you're going to see take the field against Wofford in 12 days.
Thoughts?
