The AP and Coaches' Polls are out for this week, and Baylor turns in at number 5 in both! The question of whether Baylor would jump Missouri this week in the AP became a moot point when South Carolina defeated the Tigers in overtime shortly after the conclusion of Baylor's domination of Kansas. Here are the full polls:

Though the loss most likely ends any discussion of ESPN's College GameDay making a visit to Arlington on November 16 when Baylor and Texas Tech face off. Oklahoma State is 18, and Texas makes an appearance in the Others Receiving Votes category.

Baylor remains at 5 in the Coaches' Poll this week, and Oklahoma climbs back into the Top 10 in the poll with its win over Texas Tech. Interestingly, the third Big 12 to be ranked this week in the poll is Oklahoma State, who checks in at number 12, five spots ahead of its AP poll ranking. Texas Tech is again number 15 in the Coaches Poll.
We'll have a separate post with analysis and commentary once the latest BCS rankings are released, later this evening. Until then, tell us what you think of the latest AP and Coaches polls in the comments!
