The Baylor Bears finish the year and non-conference slate facing off against the University of New Orleans Privateers. Baylor comes into the game hot of a much needed win at home against the Oregon Ducks, while New Orleans is playing in its second straight road game after a loss to Pitt.
On the season, New Orleans is 5-5 and is led by their senior guard Ezekiel Charles. He is averaging 11 points and 5 rebounds per game. Graduate teammate and forward Scott Plaisance Jr. is averaging 10 and 4.
Baylor should win this game handily, but we’ve said that before and seen things go the other way. Given the time of year, the arena will be scarcely populated. The team will need to bring its own energy. Makai Mason and Tristan Clark will have to set the pace for their teammates. If those two are locked in, Baylor should be able to get a handy victory.
