Oct. 10: Francisco Lindor undergoes elbow operation Lindor is "expected to be fully ready for Spring Training" after having surgery to remove a bone spur from his right elbow, the Mets announced. Lindor, who will turn 30 on Nov. 14, is coming off his strongest season since being acquired by the Mets in January 2021. The four-time All-Star shortstop finished 2023 with 31 homers, 31 steals and 33 doubles while posting 6 Outs Above Average in 160 games.
