ICYMI: Jared Butler Cleared to Play in NBA

Jared Butler announced last night that the NBA determined he’s eligible to play in the league. That’s a huge victory for Butler after there were concerns a prior heart condition might preclude him from playing in the association.

The NBA has a process where two out of three doctors had to clear him. Per Butler, all three approved him. Shams Charania of The Athletic/Watch Stadium had the news first.

My guess is that Butler will land around pick 20 now. Some mock drafts had him lower to balance whether he would be eligible.
