The Baylor baseball team is heading into the final week of the regular season with a series against Oklahoma. The games will be played on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Currently, the Bears are in 5th place—one game ahead of Oklahoma.
There is a lot on the line for Baylor this weekend. Not only is seeding for the Big 12 tournament (next week) still up in the air, but also seeding for the NCAA tournament. Most projections throughout the last month have the Bears as either a #2 or #3 seed. Obviously, in the college baseball postseason pod system that difference doesn’t matter too much, but it is something to keep an eye on.
Last weekend’s series loss to Oklahoma State was the first one in over a month. It was an entertaining series. Hopefully Baylor can bounce back and build some momentum for the Big 12 tournament.
