While not official from Baylor yet, all signs point toward Baylor hiring BYU OC Jeff Grimes as its new OC.
Sources: Baylor is targeting BYU OC Jeff Grimes as the new offensive coordinator, and a deal is expected to be finalized today. Grimes was a finalist for the Broyles Award this year, as BYU finished No. 3 in scoring offense with 43.5 ppg.

Grimes was at BYUY from 2018-2020. In his 3 years, the offenses went from mid level nationally to exploding to top 5 in 2020.
Grimes’ background is as an offensive line coach and he has been well traveled. Before becoming the OC at BYU, he was the OL coach LSU, Virginia Tech, and Auburn.
On its surface this is a great hire. I’ll be doing a deep dive on him here soon enough.
