Coach David Aranda and Baylor Football had a huge recruiting day with the commitments of two coveted instate class of 2021 recruits.
Three star safety Devin Lemear, out of Manor, TX, committed earlier in the evening:

Thank you for everything, I love y’all @FrancesLemear @darryllemear

Lemear, a 6 foot 170 pound safety was a much sought after recruit, with offers from Texas, TCU, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kansas State, Kansas, and a slew of other Power 5 offers. He was committed to TCU earlier in the process, but decommitted after Baylor offered. Lemear will certainly help build a strong defense for defensive-minded Aranda.
On the offensive side of the ball, three star offensive tackle Ryan Lengyel committed a few hours after Lemear:

Lengyel, out of Dallas, chose the Bears over a number of other offers, which once again included Texas. Lengyel has solid size for a high school tackle, coming in at 6-5, 275 pounds. He will be an excellent addition to new offensive coordinator Larry Fedora’s offensive vision.
Together, these two recruits made for a great day of Baylor recruiting, adding themselves as the 18th and 19th commits of the 2021 class. One prominent story line emerging from these dual commitments was that they both chose Baylor over Texas. Regardless, these commits are extremely welcome additions as Baylor Football looks to round out its 2021 class.
Sic ‘em Devin and Ryan!
