Baylor Basketball Lands 2021 5-Star Kendall Brown

Sic ‘Em!

NCAA Basketball: Kansas at Baylor Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Baylor landed top 14 prospect and 5-star wing Kendall Brown just a few minutes ago. The 6-foot-6 (thought other sites list him at 6-foot-8) Brown plays at Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita, Kansas. Brown announced his decision on Instagram Live.

Brown is an ultra-athletic wing. He should play immediately at Baylor.

The Bears have had quite a week. They added Langston Love (the No. 21 recruit) and Jeremy Sochan (the No. 45 recruit) last week.

Brown picked Baylor over a host of schools, most prominently Kansas. The Jayhawks were the early favorite, but things didn’t quite work out for the Jayhawks.

The future of Baylor basketball is unbelievably bright. Jared Butler and MaCio Teague have until August 3rd to decide about returning to Baylor. If they return, Baylor will likely be ranked No. 2 to open the season (behind Gonzaga). And with a 2021 class that is easily Baylor’s best since 2012, the next decade should be something.
