Lorando Johnson, a 4 star cornerback out of Lancaster, TX, has committed to Baylor. He becomes the fifth cornerback Baylor has picked up in the 2020 class, definitely showing a position coach Dave Aranda is looking to bolster.

Johnson was originally committed to LSU before decommitting and joining the Bears. One has to imagine coach Aranda’s move from LSU to Baylor might have had an impact in this decision. Johnson had an incredible list of offers, such as from LSU, Alabama, Ohio State, Texas A&M, TCU, Texas Tech, and a slew of others. Given the timing of Johnson’s commitment, it is possible that he could still enroll in the summer term and join the rest of the 2020 class that is coming in for summer workouts.
Sic ‘em Lorando!
