Winter Sport Athletes Denied Extra Season of Eligibility; Spring Athletes Granted Another Year

The NCAA will not grant winter sport athletes another season of eligibility. The NCAA release said:

Winter sports were not included in the decision. Council members declined to extend eligibility for student-athletes in sports where all or much of their regular seasons were completed.

Spring sport athletes will get an extra year of eligibility.

This means that basketball seniors have now officially played their last game.
