Baylor No. 1 Overall Seed in NCAA Tournament Early Reveal

Baylor is the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament early reveal. They’re joined by Kansas, Gonzaga and San Diego State on the No. 1 line.

The Bears are the top seed in the Houston regional. They did not reveal if Baylor would open in Omaha or St. Louis, but those are by far the most likely opening spots.

The NCAA Tournament selection group meets in February to reveal an early bracket through the top four seeds. Baylor earned the No. 1 overall ranking.

Baylor has been named a No. 1 seed in this early reveal on two occasions. In 2017, Baylor was the No. 3 overall team. Baylor ended the season as a No. 3 seed that year.

In the three prior seasons this has been done, 3-of-4 No. 1 seeds have ended up as No. 1 seeds.
