Baylor-West Virginia Prediction

The Bears looks to win 22 in a row

NCAA Basketball: Baylor at West Virginia Ben Queen-USA TODAY Sports

Baylor (22-1, 11-0) takes on West Virginia (18-6, 6-5) at 3:00 today in the Ferrell Center. The game—because ESPN won’t flex games—airs on ESPN+.

This will be quite the challenge for Baylor. The Mountaineers play two bigs that can really score. Oscar Tshiebwe is the best scoring big (Udoka Azubuike is a better dunker but isn’t as skilled) Baylor will play this season.

Baylor will have to shoot and play better than they did against Texas. If Baylor plays the way they did against Texas, they will lose—and probably by a fairly significant margin. West Virginia is a good clip better than Texas.

I’ll say Baylor wins 64-62. That’s a dangerously close game, and my confidence level in this game is pretty low. I’ll say Matt Mayer hits a few big shots and helps Baylor win.
