Baylor vs. #22 Oklahoma State
Saturday, December 12th 2:30 PM CT, ESPN
Baylor (2-6, 2-6) looks to end the season on a potential high note as they host #22 Oklahoma State (6-3, 5-3) in a rescheduled game. With Iowa State and Oklahoma locking their bids to the Big 12 championship and no win minimum for bowl bids, there isn’t much to play for here other than pride. That might serve Baylor well who, at least defensively, played with a ton of energy and pride last weekend against Oklahoma. Oklahoma State, on the other hand, squandered their chance at playing in the Big 12 championship game when they lost to TCU last game. I suspect the Cowboys won’t be very energized to play Baylor, who has looked better as the season has come to its close. If Baylor’s defense plays like it did against Oklahoma, this wouldn’t be all that surprising of a win by Baylor. I’m still picking Oklahoma State, who is a 5 point favorite, but I think Baylor and company will at least keep it close.

TCU vs Louisiana Tech
Saturday, December 12th 6:00 PM CT, FS1
In a weird scheduling quirk, TCU (5-4) is taking on Louisiana Tech (5-3) for their final regular season game. Louisiana Tech has had a ton of games postponed this season, but they have still been a pretty decent mid-major team. Still, TCU should be able to handle the Bulldogs with little issue, as the Horned Frogs have looked better and better with each week, defeating Oklahoma State in their last game. TCU is favored by 21.5 points. I actually think Louisiana Tech might cover that spread, as they have only lost to a very good BYU squad by more than that margin. Nevertheless, TCU should win this one just fine.
