Scott Drew Positive for COVID-19; Rest of Team Negative Twice

Scott Drew, the winningest and best coach in Baylor basketball history, is positive for COVID-19. Drew made the announcement on Twitter.

Hopefully nobody else on the team tests positive. The Bears are scheduled to start the season on Wednesday at 8:30 against Arizona State. They’ll then play the next day. If they win, they’re expected to meet Villanova in the title game.

Drew’s announcement is that Jerome Tang will lead the team in his absence. Tang coached two games in 2013 and won both.
