Dave Aranda met with the media for about 25 minutes today.
The biggest news is that he expects all the defensive players that missed the West Virginia game to be back by the middle of next week. That would give Baylor all five missing starters for the Oklahoma State game.
Aranda felt like the bye week helps. He mentioned the team practiced very well yesterday. He feels like they can add some more bells and whistles to the defense too.
JT Woods received accolades from John Werner of the Waco Tribune-Herald, and Aranda noted he’s done an excellent job helping Baylor limit big passing plays.
In an unusual moment, a writer from the New York Post that’s writing a story on Trevor Lawrence called in to ask about LSU’s game against Clemson last season.
