The first weekend in October brings with it some great quality games, both in the Big 12 and Nationally. It’s hard to pick just a few to highlight, but ‘ll give it my best shot.
1.) TCU vs Texas - I think every Big 12 game this weekend, besides OSU & KU, is extremely intriguing. Just great matchups overall. After Oklahoma’s upset loss to Kansas State last Saturday, fans were ready to anoint the Longhorns the favorite in the conference. That was until it took overtime for Texas to avoid an upset loss in Lubbock. So now the pressure is fully on Texas, as they welcome a TCU team that has gotten the better of them in recent years.
2.) Texas A&M vs Alabama - The Aggies will get a chance to prove that they were worth the off-season hype. Texas A&M has not defeated Alabama since 2012. It will be televised on the CBS 2:30 time slot.
3.) Virginia vs. Clemson - Can the Tigers be challenged? This Virginia team is coming off a solid victory against Duke last week. The game will be on the ACCN at 7:00 PM.
