Baylor basketball landed UNLV transfer Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua earlier today. The Cameroon native will sit out next season and then have three years of eligibility.
Tchatchoua appeared in all of UNLV’s games last season. He averaged 3 points and 4 rebounds. The 6-foot-7 center has a 7-foot-2 wingspan.
Baylor now has 12 scholarships filled for next season. The Bears had 13 last season, and King McClure and Makai Mason are gone. Darius Allen also entered the transfer portal.
With a strong core ready to play next season, Baylor will likely add one more sit and then play two or three seasons player.
