Baylor Baseball Sweeps TCU in Dominating Fashion

Three wins on the road!

Only a couple seasons ago, TCU was the definitive cream of the crop of Big 12 baseball. Last season, there seemed to be a changing of the guard when Baylor beat TCU in the Big 12 tournament. That momentum has carried over to this season, where the Bears absolutely ANNIHILATED the Horned Frogs in their weekend series. On the road no less.

In game one, Baylor beat TCU by a “modest” margin of 6-3. From there, the Bears completely opened the floodgates in games two and three. Baylor won by a mind boggling margin of 15-2 to ensure a series victory. But the Bears smelled frog-blood in the water and wanted to secure the series sweep today. Sure enough they did, once again in blowout fashion, winning 12-1. That makes the series score margin 33-6.

Y I K E S TCU.

With those three wins, Baylor maintains its first place position in the Big 12 with a 12-5 record. Texas Tech is in second at 11-7. TCU went from a .500 league record to 6-9, pushing them down to a tie for 6th. Sic ‘em Baylor Baseball!

(Also, apologies for the late timing of this post. It was a full travel day on my end).
