Cryer’s recruiting appears wide open. LSU and Purdue are possibilities, but Will Wade may not coach another game at LSU after Yahoo’s report that he was on a wiretap discussing possible payments. Texas is also a possible landing spot.
Baylor’s been active trying to land him. Scott Drew and Jerome Tang were at his home tonight.
The Bears have done an excellent job developing point guards; the Bears had five point guards make all big 12 teams this decade.
Cryer would be a massive addition for the Bears. He’s a high volume scorer and would play well early alongside Jared Butler and Davion Mitchell.
