Kim Mulkey and the Baylor Lady Bears are moving on to the Elite Eight, as they defeated South Carolina in the Sweet Sixteen 93-68. Baylor will face Iowa in Greensboro, North Carolina Monday, April 1 at 6 PM CT. That game will be on ESPN2.
The Lady Bears were led by a career performance from DiDi Richards, breaking her previous career high points total of 15 by scoring 25. Baylor jumped out to a dominating lead early and coasted with that down the stretch. The third quarter was a little sloppy, so I’m sure Mulkey will have some constructive criticism for the team as they prepare for Iowa.
