The Baylor Lady Bears advanced to the Sweet Sixteen once again, defeating Cal 102-63 in Waco. Kim Mulkey’s squad absolutely took over this game after a close first quarter. Baylor outscored Cal by 16 points in the second quarter and 20 in the third to blow this game wide open. Juicy Landrum led the way with 20 points. However, the biggest story of this game might have been the defense. Cal shot 41.8% from the field but only had 55 attempted shots. By comparison, Baylor shot 54.7% on a whopping 75 shots.
