Baylor beat UT-Martin in Houston 91-63. The Bears are now 9-1, and they’re off until 2:00 p.m. on December 30th (the weird game times continue).
Here are three quick takeaways:
1) Flo Thamba played excellent defense- Thamba blocked four shots, and a few of those were timely. UT-Martin made a first half run, and Thamba ended that dream.

2) Layups are nice- Baylor got to the hoop consistently in the second half. The Bears started 5-of-19 from three, which made their work near the hoop important.

3) Good lineup variety- Baylor switched up some of their combinations—though I still dream of seeing Mark Vital at the five—and had more spacing. Tonight was a good night to try things, given UT-Martin had no chance.
