For the first time in 126 regular season games, Connecticut has fallen. The Lady Bears made that happen with a 68-57 win. They were also Connecticut’s most recent regular season loss in 2013.
#Baylor's Kim Mulkey, "I want people to be proud of this program, we win, we're an elite program, we may never get to another Final 4, they're hard to get too, but we are still there and still relevant. I want to put a team on the floor that #Baylor fans can be proud of."

Kalani Brown led Baylor with 22 points and 17 rebounds. Lauren Cox added five blocks.
The Lady Bears played excellent defense. Connecticut shot just 29.4% from the field.
Baylor’s only loss is at Stanford. With this victory, and three potential big games against Texas, the Lady Bears should be able to move back into the No. 1 seed discussion.
More importantly, the win showed—if there was any doubt—that the Lady Bears could win another national title.
