Baylor doesn’t battle Oklahoma until 2:30 today. That will air on ABC.
This rumor is out there. I know nothing on this front:
Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray may not start today due to a punishment for being late.— CFB Home (@CFBHome) September 29, 2018
John Wener of The Waco Tribune-Herald has a great story on Terel Bernard:
His numbers show how far he’s come in relatively little time. Bernard not only leads the Bears with 22 tackles, he’s notched two tackles for loss, a sack, and one of Baylor’s two interceptions in the team’s 3-1 start. Coming off the bench, Bernard has recorded seven tackles in each of the last three games.
The promise Bernard has already shown has the Baylor coaching staff excited about his future.
Sam Bradshaw of SicEm365 has his usual excellent look at Baylor’s opponent (free):
The Sooners will use both three and four man fronts and their personnel is similar to what you would expect in an Under style defense. This first image shows OU lining up against Ohio State last year in their 3 man Tight front with their DE’s in 4i alignments. (inside shoulder of the tackle) This front does a good job protecting the linebackers behind it and is used by a considerable portion of the Big 12. OU has used it a ton since 2013 and it’s one front they like to use when they go with a 3 man alignment.
Here’s a schedule of other games:
We’ll have a game thread up at about 2:00 for our game.
In the early period, I’ll mainly be watching Texas Tech-West Virginia.
