WBB Closes Italy Exhibition Tour with 104-50 Win over Muggia Select - Baylor University, TRIESTE, Italy – Five players scored in double figures and Baylor's Kalani Brown and Juicy Landrum led the charge with 22 and 21 points, respectively as the Lady Bears drummed the Muggia Select Slammers 104-50 Saturday night at the PalaSport Aquilinia.

Brown shot 7-for-9 from the floor, was a perfect 8-for-8 from the free-throw line and grabbed eight rebounds. Landrum's scoring all came from beyond the arc as she knocked down 7-of-9 attempts from downtown in the win.

Baylor held Muggia Select to 28.1 percent shooting on the evening, and other than three brief leads early in the first quarter for the hosts, the Lady Bears controlled the contest in every facet. BU stayed consistent with 52 points in each half, hit 10 3-pointers and was 20-for-25 from the free-throw line in the win.

Horton and Team USA Head to NACAC Championships - Baylor University
WACO, Texas – Junior All-American Kiana Horton will represent Team USA for the second time this summer at the NACAC Senior Championships, running Friday through Sunday at Varsity Stadium in Toronto.

The All-American from San Antonio, Texas will run as part of the 4x400-meter relay at 3:10 p.m. CT on Sunday.

The meet contains 31 countries from the North America, Central America and Caribbean regions. In its third year and first since 2015, the United States has won the medal count at each of the past two championships.

Last month, Horton was part of the gold medal-winning USA relay at the inaugural Athletics World Cup in London where the team edged second-place Jamaica in 3:24.28.

Horton is coming off her best track & field campaign yet, earning two All-America honors during the indoor and outdoor season in the 400 meters and the 4x400-meter relay. She is the new outdoor school record holder in the 400 meters after running 51.22 at the Big 12 Outdoor Championship to sweep the event titles at the conference meet.

ANDREW BILLINGS RETURNS TO FINISH DEGREE - Baylor University, That ear-to-ear grin said it all.

Crossing the Ferrell Center stage to pick up his Baylor diploma at Saturday's summer commencement, Andrew Billings was feeling a sense of accomplishment and fulfilling a promise he made to his parents five years ago.

"I came here for a reason, to get my degree," said Billings, now in his third year with the Cincinnati Bengals after earning All-America honors as a defensive lineman at Baylor (2013-15) and all-state recognition at Waco High School. "Coming back here, even though I'm in training camp, is just as big as anything in my whole life, to come and get it. This is a point in my life where I get to move on and accomplish a goal I set for myself."

Anthony Billings, Andrew's father, remembers the Baylor coaches sitting in their home years ago, "and they told us they were committed to make sure that he finished his educational journey."
