NCAA Football: Baylor at Texas Christian Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The beginning of July means a lot of things for different people: the hottest summer days are here, pay your rent, the 4th of July is right around the corner, baseball season has just passed the halfway point, etc. But, with the Bears kicking off their football season on September 1st against Abilene Christian, it also means exactly two more months until football is back for Baylor and its fans.

After a disappointing season last year, this offseason has (at least for me) felt like an eternity. But the Bears should be much improved, led by breakout QB star Charlie Brewer and a year two Phil Snow defense. There’s a lot to look forward to and build off of as Matt Rhule enters his second season as head coach. Given the recruiting momentum we’ve seen in the offseason, on the field success would only magnify those results.

What are you most looking forward to this season? What units do you think will see the most improvement? Already have sail/tailgating plans? Let us know in the comments! Sic ‘em!
