Baylor Basketball Adds Elite SF Jordan Turner to 2019 Class

NCAA Basketball: Big 12 Conference Tournament-West Virginia v Baylor Amy Kontras-USA TODAY Sports

Scott Drew and Baylor Basketball picked up a huge commitment Wednesday night in 3 star small forward Jordan Turner. Turner committed to Baylor over offers from Florida, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, TCU, and Texas A&M among many others.

Turner committed after an unofficial visit today to Baylor. He currently plays high school basketball at Sunrise Christian in Wolfforth, TX. This makes for the first commitment of Baylor Basketball‘s 2019 class, however the quality of Turner alone bumps Baylor to the 5th ranked class in the Big 12 and 37th nationally.

Turner is a well rounded player, who has a strong 3 point game and can drive and handle the ball well too. Turner is 6-6 and weighs 180 pounds presently, giving him the height to pull off the forward role in convincing fashion.

Turner is ranked by 247Sports as the 155th ranked national player, 38th among SF, and 5th overall among Texas recruits.
