K.J. Smith and Mo Porter Sign NFL Deals

NCAA Football: Baylor at Oklahoma Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Two former Bears have signed NFL deals. K.J. Smith, the star defensive lineman who was denied a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA, has signed with the Arizona Cardinals. Mo Porter, Baylor’s former starting left tackle and man who played through injuries, has signed with the Buffalo Bills.

No word yet on Taylor Young, Taion Sells or Travon Blanchard. I’d expect those guys to get a shot somewhere.

We’ll keep you posted on future signings.
