As the title says, Baylor had one of the most absurdly impressive innings in baseball last night. The Bears took on Texas State and won in convincing fashion with a final score of 17-5. The bulk of those 17 runs came in the 7th inning, with Baylor scoring 11 runs in that inning alone. Here’s how that inning went down:

Double. Walk. Walk. Walk. Single. Single. Single. Double. Single. Single. GIDP. Walk. Double. Double. Flyout.

Yeah, it was wild. For those who know how a baseball scorebook works, here’s what that inning looked like:

One of the most impressive aspects of this game, beyond the 11 run inning is that every single Baylor starter had at least one hit and one run scored. This inning and game is arguably a microcosm of the massive late season turn around the Bears have mustered, winning 9 of their last 10 games and sweeping arch-rival TCU over the last weekend. Sic ‘em Baylor Baseball!
