Legends

Coach's Corner: Predicting what's in store for the rest of RG3's NFL career, FrederickNewsPost, One of my favorite TV shows from the past was “The Tonight Show Featuring Johnny Carson.” Carson, one of the best stand-up comics and master of adlibs to host the late-night show, used to do a routine dubbed “Carnac the Magnificent.”

In the bit, Carson, wearing a plumed turban and dressed like an Eastern mystic, would hold a sealed envelope against his forehead and pretend to be divining its contents. Then he would declare his answer, tear open the envelope, and read the supposedly unexpected question. One of my favorite answers/questions was when Carnac answered, “Sis, boom, bahhh!” then revealed the question, “Describe the sound made when a sheep explodes.”

Although I’m no Eastern mystic, the Old Coach will do a little divining by providing an answer to one of this week’s most pressing sports questions.

Answer: Over and out.

Question: What should Baltimore Ravens fans expect from the recent signing of RG3 as a backup quarterback?
