Gold Jacket Mike Singletary Accepts New Coaching Role | Pro Football Hall of Fame Official Site, Gold Jacket Mike Singletary will be putting on his coaching hat again.

The Hall of Fame linebacker was named the head coach of Trinity Christian-Addison football in Texas.

Singletary was head coach with the San Francisco 49ers and also coached the Baltimore Ravens, Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams.

He will return to his roots in Texas. He was born in Houston and attended Houston Worthing High School and Baylor.

Before training camp begins, Singletary will host the U.S. Army Award for Excellence program in April. He will attend Silo High School on April 25 in Durant, OK to honor Jessen Pratt and China Spring High School on April 26 in China Spring, Texas to honor Malori Brown. The award honors 25 students who excel in academics, athletics and volunteer in the community.

Irish standout Arike Ogunbowale delivered the dagger, knocking down a jumper with one second left to hand UConn its second Final Four loss in two years.
