The non-pushed picks are 19-19. I don’t bet these, so take them for whatever value you find in them:
Butler (+4) v. Purdue- The Butler way and Purdue’s injuries lead to a Butler upset.
Michigan State (-8) v. Syracuse- The Spartans’ fantastic 2-point defense and size proves too much for Syracuse.
North Carolina (-5.5) v. Texas A&M- Joel Berry should have a fantastic day, and North Carolina should win fairly easily.
Cincinnati (-6.5) v. Nevada- Cincinnati's defense is too good, and their offense starts to come to life.
Clemson (+1) v. Auburn- Both teams looked good, despite being popular upset candidates in round one. I think Clemson’s squad is a tad better. But I don’t feel confident in predicting this game.
UMBC (+10.5) v. Kansas State- The Wildcats have size on the perimeter to matchup with UMBC. But without Dean Wade, and as the story of the NCAA Tournament, I think UMBC covers and could spring the upset.
Xavier (-5.5) v. Florida State- The Seminoles had phenomenal stretches against the Tigers. But Florida State is inconsistent, and Xavier is better. They cover.
Marshall (+12) v. West Virginia- Give me Marshall straight up!
